On May 15, a significant scientific event took place - the III International Scientific Conference "Volga-Kama region: history, socio-cultural heritage and prospects". The event was organized on the initiative of the Head of the Chistopolsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the rector of KIU Asia Timiryasova.
The conference was attended by prominent scientists and experts from different countries. Among the guests were General Consul of the People's Republic of China in Kazan Xiang Bo, representatives of Gomel State University named after F. Skaryna, scientists from the University of Udine (Italy), and even researchers from the Republic of Cuba.
The program of the two-day conference was rich and varied. The plenary session, which was led by Dilara Zalyalova, Director of the Chistopol branch of KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov, set the agenda for all further work. The participants had the opportunity to discuss relevant issues in thematic sections, as well as to present their research at the competition of scientific works "I study, I am proud, I preserve my native land".
The third conference successfully brings together experts to solve important issues related to the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Volga-Kama region and the development of the territory's tourism potential.
