One of the most exciting events of the academic year – the Rector’s Ball of Kazan Innovative University – took place in the Pushkin Hall of the Korston business center. This is an annual award ceremony for the best students who have distinguished themselves in science, study, creativity, sports and social life. The event became a real holiday for all its participants.
The ball brought together young men in elegant classic suits and girls in exquisite evening dresses. They came to celebrate their achievements and share their joy with friends and family, as well as the rector and vice-rectors of the university. The hall was filled with the energy of youth and success. This is not surprising, because KIU is a university of bright and successful people. A university where they become real professionals and sought-after specialists.
The rector of Kazan Innovative University, Asiya Timiryasova, greeted the students and opened the award ceremony.
“The main reserve for increasing the competitiveness of any country is its human capital - these are the abilities, knowledge, skills embodied in people. Today in this hall there are the best students of Kazan Innovative University, who, with their achievements, write their history and constitute the intellectual and human capital of Kazan Innovative University and our republic,” she noted.
The highlight of the evening was the performance of the electric violin duet “Arco Show”, which brought a touch of modernity and elegance to the atmosphere of the ball. Their music was both tender and energetic.
The Rector's Ball is undoubtedly the most striking event of the academic year. Traditionally, the Ball honors the best of the best, those who with their success increase the achievements of their home university and glorify it.
One after another, the best students of the faculties took to the stage: future lawyers, managers, economists, teachers, psychologists, linguists, designers and others. All participants in the Rector's Ball have high achievements in studies, science, creativity and sports. In addition, graduates who were excellent students were recognized at the Rector’s Ball. They are, of course, the pride of the University; each of them will have success in their future professional career.
Traditionally, the Rector's Ball becomes a holiday for both students and the entire university administration; the holiday unites generations, shows the openness of the University and the possibility of dialogue. At the KIU Rector's Ball, as it should be at balls, there is a place for a classic set of dances - polonaise, minuet, Viennese waltz. The participants carefully prepared, and therefore each dance felt lightness and freedom of movement. Behind every dance there is a centuries-old history and tradition. So, a polonaise is a dance in which every step is filled with grace and grandeur. His slow and graceful movements seem to tell a story of nobility and elegance.
Minuet is a dance in which every movement seems to be embroidered with grace and nobility. His smooth and graceful steps are reminiscent of ancient palace balls and elegant court customs.
