Kazan Innovative University named after V.G.Timiryasov proposed specific measures for the development of international cooperation at the III Forum of Non-State Education in Moscow.
Liliya Vorontsova, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, presented a report at a meeting of university vice-rectors and rectors with Dmitry Afanasyev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education. The report focused on attracting international students to non-state universities in Russia. She put forward proposals to develop and strengthen the potential of Russian education and enhance its influence at the international level.
The III Forum of Non-State Education, organized by the Association of Non-State Education, was held in Moscow at the Lomonosov Cluster. The plenary session was attended by Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education; Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the LDPR; Lyubov Dukhanina, Chairperson of the Association of Non-State Education; Vadim Lobov, President of the Synergy Educational Corporation; and Eduard Omarov, First Vice-President of the small and medium-sized business public organization "OPORA RUSSIA." Kazan Innovative University was represented by Liliya Vorontsova, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development; Ekaterina Nikitina, Head of the International Relations Department; and Yulia Khadiullina, Director of the Kazan Innovative University College.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov, spoke about the priorities of the higher education system, of which the private education sector is an integral part. One of the key issues of the forum was the discussion of the Strategy for the Development of the Non-State Education Sector in the Russian Federation until 2036.
The forum served as a large-scale platform for discussing proposals and ideas among all sectors of non-state education, including all levels of preschool, school, secondary vocational, higher, and additional education.
