KIU Strengthens Ties with China: Meeting of the Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Kazan with KIU Students
On December 24, 2025, an important meeting between representatives of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov and Ms. Liu Xuejiao, Consul of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan, took place at the university. The event was attended by First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Research — Igor Izmaylovich Bikееv, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication — Roza Zakarievna Valeeva, and Head of the International Department — Ekaterina Igorevna Nikitina.

KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov has confirmed its high status by taking 20th place in the nationwide "Tvoy Khod" (Your Move) ranking — the Index of Student Attitudes towards Educational Work in Universities.
Award of the Year: KIU is the Leader in Tatarstan for Recipients of the Russian Government Scholarship in Social Sciences!
A ceremonial presentation of the named scholarships of the President and the Government of Russia took place in Kazan. KIU Rector Asiya Timiryasova participated in the ceremony.
