KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov turned 30 years old. A date that symbolizes not only rich traditions, but also the rapid development of one of the leading universities in the Volga region. Founded in 1994, our university has come a long way, gathering thousands of students and teachers under its wing, becoming a center of attraction for active and ambitious young people seeking quality education.

The anniversary not only records the results of the university's work, but also serves as a mirror reflecting the university's large-scale contribution to the Russian education system, achievements and values on which our university family is based.

Over the past years, KIU has produced many qualified specialists who have made significant contributions to various fields of activity. Just think about it: 79,904 students have graduated from our university in just these 30 years.

On November 21, as part of the celebrations dedicated to this significant event, a large anniversary concert was held, which became the culmination of the celebration of three decades of the creative and educational path of the university. The anniversary evening brought together graduates, teachers, staff and students who have achieved success in their field and glorify our republic.

One of these graduates is the People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Alina Sharipzhanova, who performed the anthem of the Kazan Innovative University together with the audience at the opening of the concert.

The solemn speech of the rector of KIU Asia Timiryasova was greeted with ovations. "For a university, 30 years is generally a small age in terms of the history and development of Russian education. But for a university that began its activities in the difficult 90s almost from scratch, at a time when the public education system was experiencing a serious crisis, this is a long and difficult path and a huge achievement," the rector addressed graduates, teachers and students of the university. - Our first rector and founder of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law at that time, Dr. Vitaly Timiryasov, devoted more than 50 years of his life serving education and science. He stood at the origins of the formation and development of non-governmental education. And when he planned the university, he dreamed of bringing his idea to life - to create an institute of a new formation, where classical university education and advanced technologies would be combined. Anyone who has ever communicated with Dr. Vitaly Gainulovich, immediately saw that this is a unique and ambitious person. He attracted people with his intelligence, globality of thinking and great willpower.

When he decided to create a university, he united the same like–minded people around him - smart, strong, literate, professional and brave. And I am glad that today in this hall there are those who stood at the origins of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law."

Dr. Asia Vitalievna reminded the audience in the hall that in 1994, together with the main university, two branches appeared: in Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk cities.

"Any successful university has three components of quality work: This is a team of teachers and staff, our students are bright, beautiful, ambitious, and brave. And, of course, graduates," the rector noted. - Our graduates are our pride. They hold senior positions in ministries and departments not only in Tatarstan, but also far beyond its borders. They head large, medium and small enterprises. And wherever I meet our graduates, they always send greetings to their teachers. And they remember the warmth and atmosphere that was created at our university thanks to all of us."

Famous professors who worked side by side with Dr. Vitaly Timiryasov and created the glory of our university were awarded with diplomas and gifts from the rector.

The journey to the origins of our university continued in a series of vivid videos that reflected key moments in the development of the university, significant achievements of students and their teachers in the field of education, science and upbringing. The audience saw how our university has been changing for thirty years, how it has grown and developed, educating qualified specialists ready for the challenges of the modern world.

The videos of the concert not only told about the past, but also emphasized the importance of the tasks facing the university in the future, created an atmosphere of inspiration and pride for the achievements that have been achieved over three decades.
