KIU continues to strengthen relations with the Republic of Cuba
From September 23 to 25, Kazan Innovative University was visited by a delegation of universities of the Republic of Cuba, which included the Rector of the University of Cienfugos "Carlos Rafael Rodriguez" Dr. Orquídea Urcuiola Sánchez and the Rector of Pedagogical University "Enríquez José Varona" Dr. Milda Lesbia Díaz Massip.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has summed up the results of the contest for Scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation among students who have achieved outstanding success in their studies and scientific research. This year, Kazan Innovative University took first place among private universities in Russia in terms of the number of scholarship holders, and also became one of the first in the unofficial regional ranking in terms of the number of awarded Scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation.
International students for the first time on a river cruise on the Volga
As part of the participation in the All–Russian festival "People's Boat" dedicated to the development of river navigation and crafts, foreign students of KIU traveled along one of the largest rivers on Earth - the Volga on a comfortable motor ship.

On July 10, in the IT Park named after Bashir Rameev, the results of the Tatarstan eSports Student League were summed up and the grand final of the first ever Computer Sports Cup of Tatarstan with a prize fund of 100,000 rubles was launched.
