Timiryasov hosted the largest in Russia and CIS countries International scientific and practical conference “Digital Technologies and Law”, which brought together thousands of participants from dozens of countries.

Kazan Innovative University hosted the plenary session of the 3rd International scientific and practical conference “Digital Technologies and Law” organized by KIU named after V. G. Timiryasov jointly with the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. This event brought together representatives of different branches of legal science and practice, authorities and business to discuss topical issues concerning the mechanisms of ensuring the legal regime of rapidly developing digital technologies.

International round table "Public of BRICS for Sovereign Development" with participation of KIU was held in Kazan
On September 12, an international roundtable discussion on the topic "Public of BRICS for Sovereign Development" was held in the Presence Offices of Kazan Kremlin. It was timed to coincide with the upcoming BRICS Summit (Kazan, October 2024). The event was organized by: Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Russian Political Science journal. The roundtable brought together a wide range of participants, including representatives of the public, scientists, religious and political figures, as well as foreign guests from the BRICS countries - China, India, Iran, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Ethiopia.
Expanding horizons: foreign students of KIU visited the Great Bolgar
On September 8, international students from Columbia and China took a boat to the Bolgar and visited the Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The excursion, annually organized by the Department of International Relations of KIU together with teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics, is part of the historical, cultural and linguistic education of international students.
