On October 27, the Kazan Innovative University, represented by its rector Asiya Timiryasova, was awarded a diploma of honor from the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure for its great contribution to the development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The award was presented by A.V. Prokofiev, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, member of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourist Infrastructure, at a meeting of the working group on the participation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the implementation of state programs of the Russian Federation, federal target programs and other projects. The rector of our university was awarded for more than fifteen years of active work and contribution of the university to the training of personnel in the field of tourism. The event highlights the university's outstanding role in the development of the tourism industry and confirms the high quality of education provided to students.

The field of Tourism is actively developing at our university, which proves the constant victories of our students. In addition, the university has been a leader in tourism competitions for several years in a row.

According to the results of the contest “Tourism Leader 2022”, organized by the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, KIU received a special diploma in the nomination “Promotion of the tourism market of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of tourism education.”

Let us recall that in 2019 and 2018, KIU was recognized as the best educational institution in the republic in the field of tourism.
